Cholesterol and fatty liver are common health problems today. However, as much as we talk about prevention and liver cleansing methods, many people only react when the problem arises.
Renowned expert, nutritionist Predrag NenadiΔ, explains what the main cause of cholesterol and fatty liver is.
NenadiΔ received his qualifications as a leading nutritionist at prestigious world universities.
He was the president of the Association of Dietitians of Yugoslavia and the president of the Society for the Improvement of Nutrition. He worked and trained at the University Clinic in Ludwigshafen, Germany, as a dietitian-nutritionist.

“The problem with steatosis does not come from fatty foods. for fear of getting high cholesterol, then we get fatty liver,” the nutritionist pointed out.
“This is the so-called non-alcoholic stearate of the liver. Because of this stearate, the liver cannot work, cannot cleanse our body of toxins, cannot detoxify. We will notice this with the appearance of acne and pimples on our skin, dandruff will increase, nails will peel, our body will itch,” he said.

It is emphasized that good cholesterol is necessary for the proper functioning of the body.
"Cholesterol is not something that nature created against man. People need cholesterol, many hormones are synthesized from it, it also creates cell membranes, it is necessary for humans! But when there is too much of it, of the bad low-density cholesterol – LDL cholesterol – then we have a problem."
He also discovered how triglycerides increase.
“If you have triglycerides, you haven't eaten pork, you've eaten fruit, a lot of bread, pasta, refined flour, that's the problem,” he emphasizes.
What is the best way to cleanse the liver and body?
It's all in the food! It's very important to have a regular lifestyle. Adequate water intake. The liver loves a lot of water – this is crucial! We need to consume optimal amounts of fibre, both soluble and insoluble. We need to eat foods that the liver likes, namely bitter things like cranberries, dandelion, burdock root, etc. Dr. NenadiΔ advises eliminating all carbohydrates and artificial sugars from your diet in order to successfully lower cholesterol and triglycerides.

Eat foods rich in healthy fats (homemade lard, olive oil, cold-pressed vegetable oils, foods rich in choline (bacon, eggs), eat salmon, mackerel, all healthy fats…). The liver cannot be cleansed with juices, especially those you buy. Everywhere they say that these juices contain fructose. And it is this same fructose that is most dangerous for weight gain. Fructose gives sweetness to the product, but it also gives fat to the body. This fructose increases triglycerides and cholesterol in the body.
He particularly emphasizes that this is not the same fructose that we consume from fruit.
Manufacturers label it as fruit sugar. It is structurally the same, but the fructose that is added to industrial products is made from corn (this is the so-called glucose-fructose syrup), not from fruit.
